Located in the heart of Rouse Hill, the Blink of Light studio is a quiet, sun-drenched space designed specifically for newborns and their families. I’ve intentionally traded the cold, clinical feel of a commercial office for the warmth of a private home studio — a place where I’ve gathered everything needed to capture those first precious days in a way that feels personal and unhurried.

I believe the best photos happen when you feel at ease. Here, the room is perfectly warmed to a cozy 25-27°C, the white noise is humming, and you are encouraged to truly settle in while I capture the magic.

We all know the Sydney weather likes to keep us on our toes. One minute it’s gorgeous, and the next, we’re looking at one of those famously gloomy, "is it ever going to stop raining?" kind of days.

The good news? Inside the studio, it’s always summer. Even when the clouds are doing their best to hide the sun, my professional lighting setup is my secret weapon. It mimics that perfect, soft natural light so consistently that you’d never know it was pouring outside. Your baby’s skin will look creamy and radiant regardless of what the Sydney sky is up to.

My background as a doll maker means I have a deep love for creating small, meaningful things with my own hands. I believe your session should be as stress-free as possible. Based on the colors and styles we discuss during your booking, I spend time pre-selecting and preparing every outfit and setup before you even pull into the driveway.

To keep my collection in pristine condition, I store my delicate knits and handmade outfits tucked away from dust and sunlight. Hygiene is my highest priority; every single prop, wrap, or outfit that your baby touches is thoroughly washed and aired in the fresh Australian sunshine after each and every session. When you walk into the studio, your custom setups will be beautifully laid out—clean, safe, and ready for use.

A Space for Parents

I’ve designed the studio with you in mind. While I work with your little one, you can sink into the leather armchair and simply breathe. It’s often the first time new parents get to sit still and just admire their baby since leaving the hospital. Whether you need to catch up on some rest or just want to watch the process, this is your time to relax.
