Every November, the jacarandas burst into bloom, painting the world in soft, magical shades of purple — and it’s honestly my favourite time of year. I’ve always dreamed of offering sessions surrounded by these blossoms, and after years of searching, I finally found the perfect spot in Penrith.
Last year, during a beautiful family trek in the area (well before jacaranda season!), I noticed rows of majestic jacaranda trees. When the blooms finally arrived, I couldn’t resist — I gathered my boys, grabbed my camera, and we returned. It was a perfect overcast day, the soft light wrapping everything in this dreamy calm. The scene was simply magical — petals falling like snow, laughter echoing through the purple trees — and that’s when the idea to take other families to this beautiful place was born.
These Jacaranda Mini Sessions are a celebration of family, love, and the beauty of fleeting moments. The soft purples and gentle light create the most magical backdrop for your family portraits — natural, timeless, and full of connection.
Each session will be short and relaxed, designed to capture your family just as you are — cuddles, giggles, and all. Perfect for families who love the outdoors and want a little piece of spring magic to treasure forever.
